FIRST OF ALL, LET'S SET THE RECORD STRAIGHT:
There is nothing that even remotely resembles a farm here.
The fact is,
THESE ARE IMMENSE, INDUSTRIAL,
HEAVY MANUFACTURING POWER PLANTS
and BIG BUSINESS.

Let's look at Denmark,
where there are over 6000 turbines
producing roughly 19% of what electricity the country used in 2002.
That much; yet,
NO conventional power plants have been shut down.

THE WIND "FARMS" HAVE HAD THEIR SAY,
AND THEY SAY PLENTY.
They show pictures of children running on green grass,
happy and well dressed, with wind turbines in the background.
Sigh.  How idyllic.
This is what we are lead to believe a wind "farm" looks like.

As the days and weeks go by, this website will show
just how the people who are in the business
of manufacturing power using these
420+FOOT HIGH, 220-TON EYESORES operate.

It will show you how they only tell you the
"rosy", "feel-good", "save-the-world" parts they want you to hear..

Realize:  Wind turbines themselves require a great deal of electricity.
Most cannot run without input from the Power Grid.
Although the wind towers produce power intermittently,
they continuously consume electricity.

In some cases, large wind turbines consume
as much electricity as they produce.

When there is no wind,
power is needed to keep the generator magnetized...
to keep the blade and generator assembly facing the wind...
to periodically spin the assembly to unwind the cables in the tower...
to heat the blades in icy conditions...
to start the blades turning
when the wind is just getting fast enough to keep them going...
to keep the blades pitched to spin at a regular rate...
to run the lights and internal controls...
and communication systems, and... wow,
that is a staggering amount of power need to operate a wind turbine.

So, if just that one quote, lends itself to all this --
interpretation... what will the rest be like?!

Wind Power is intermittent and variable;
because of that,
conventional Power Plants have to be kept running at full capacity
to meet the actual demand for power.

I would like to leave you with something to think about.

The quote below is from documentation provided during a  meeting held by
Wasatch Wind Tower Systems & Wind Development Incorporated
on the campus of Southern Utah University.
The company's ill-proposed Wind Power Facility on the Harmony Mountains of Southern Utah was the topic of the meeting:

QUESTION - "Who will benefit from the project?"
WASATCH WIND, INC's ANSWER -
"All Americans:  Every Megawatt produced by Americans
on American soil helps us end our addiction to foreign oil,
improve our self reliance, and increase our domestic energy security."

Let's look at their first statement above,
"Every Megawatt produced by Americans on American soil..."
When pressed about where the giant turbines were made,
Wasatch Wind skirted the issue,
stating they were built by an "international company".
So... the large amount of money to build the turbines,
some $4 million per turbine, will NOT benefit Americans.
NO!  That money will go to an International Company
(4 million dollars times 50 turbines equals...how much?!!).

And the "addiction to foreign oil" part.
Where is this power plant that uses "foreign oil" to produce power?
And realize, each turbine houses up to 400 gallons of oil AND
requires oil changes just like your car.
That IS the epitome of "dependence on foreign oil".

As far as "self reliance and increase our domestic energy security".
The power grid that [if built] this wind power facility will be hooked into,
gives no guarantee as to where the power will go.
Canada?  Maybe.
